15 minute HIIT workout

Hey my loves,

So winters finally hit Auckland, which means that its freezing, its raining (a lot) and just plain miserable to be anywhere but snuggled up in bed. Its that time of year that even the thought of going to the gym or doing any exercise is a real mish because lets face it we all become a little lazy over the cold months.

That being said it can be hard enough getting your butt out of bed let alone coming up with a workout when you get the motivation to move your body. The motivation to sweat goes down the drain along with the energy you need to push yourself to get moving. So I decided to create a simple workout for you all to try whenever you’re stuck for time or ideas.


15 minutes of this HIIT workout should leave you seriously sweaty afterwards! Make sure you warm up for at least 5 minutes before hand and stretch before and after.

warm up:

  • incline walk 5-10 mins
  • arm swings forward and back
  • torso twists
  • leg swings forward/back and side to side


  • 50 skips
  • 20 Pulsing Squats (on Boss ball optional)
  • 30 second plank
  • 50 Medicine ball toe taps
  • 15 Squat jumps w/ slam ball

Repeat as many times in 5 minutes as possible and try for 4-6 rounds
